TAB (Texas Association of Broadcasters), the biggest gathering of radio/TV stations in Texas, was held at the Renaissance Austin Hotel this past August 10-11th. The annual convention and trade show was well attended by Texas broadcasters with over 250 attendees. We were excited to meet all the attendees this year. Due to budget constraints, most of the TAB attendees are not able to attend the yearly NAB show held in Las Vegas, so they really look forward to seeing everybody’s new products displayed at TAB.
From our Ikan team, Barry and Dave met with a number of chief engineers and producers from all over Texas who were looking for simple items like on camera lights and monitors, as well as broadcast grade production displays.
Our Rayden LED lights and Lyra soft lights along with our Bon monitors were popular among end users that came to see the Ikan booth this year. In addition, a wide variety of Ikan products from tripods to teleprompters were also displayed in various dealers’ booths including Digital Resources, Texas Media Systems, Omega Broadcast, and Ross Video.
