Using a beam-splitter glass teleprompter on set gives your video production team many advantages. Often used in live news broadcasts, a teleprompter allows the presenter to focus on their presentation and follow along with the prepared script.
How Teleprompters Operate
A typical beam-splitter glass teleprompter system consists of reflective glass and a monitor that displays the desired script. The reflective glass is placed above the monitor at an angle so that the on-camera presenter can read the text in the reflection. When positioned properly, the camera can shoot through the glass without any interference, and the presenter can look directly at the camera while they read the projected text.
For situations where you must be mobile or travel lightly, an iPad teleprompter could be the perfect solution. We specifically designed our inventory of teleprompters to operate with tablets to give you a professional teleprompting experience with an easy-to-use, portable and lightweight setup.
