This bundle includes 2 OTTICA™ NDI|HX PTZ Video Cameras and the OTTICA™ PTZ Camera Controller and will allow you to install a streaming multi-camera video production. Switching between & controlling multiple OTTICA cameras with the IP Controller is an ideal solution for house of worship, broadcast, education, medical, sports, and live production applications.
The OTTICA™ 30x PTZ Video Camera from Ikan features a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor and 4.3-129mm varifocal lens with 30x zoom to capture videos at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 60fps. It supports POE (802.3af), HDMI, SDI, Ethernet (NDI|HX), RS-232, RS-485, and audio-in connectivity. The camera uses a step drive motor mechanism and motor drive controller for smooth and noiseless PTZ operation. In addition, it supports H.264/H.265 video compression and AAC, MP3, and G.711A audio compression formats.
Advanced ISP processing algorithms provide vivid images with a strong sense of depth, high resolution, and fantastic color rendition. The OTTICA supports H.265/H.264 encoding which makes motion video fluent and clear even with less than ideal bandwidth conditions. A full-bandwidth NDI 1080p x60 fps video data stream uses approximately 100Mbps, whereas a video data stream using NDI|HX will only require around 10Mbps (approximately 1/10th of full-bandwidth NDI). Using NDI|HX will expand the camera’s compatibility with different types of network options.
The OTTICA employs 1/2.8 inch high-quality CMOS sensor and supports resolutions up to 1920×1080 with frame rates up to 60 fps. Supported outputs include HDMI,3G-SDI, & wired LAN (NDI|HX).The 3G-SDI will work up to 100 meters in distance with transmission at 1080p60 format.
The camera includes a 4.3-129mm f/1.6-3.5 varifocal lens with a viewing angle ranging from 2.34° (tele) to 65.1° (wide) and offers 30x optical zoom.
The OTTICA™ employs an autofocus algorithm that ensures the len’s focusing performance is lens fast, accurate, and stable.
The Low Noise CMOS effectively ensures the camera’s high SNR. Advanced 2D/3D noise reduction technology is also used to further reduce the noise while ensuring image sharpness.
By adopting a high accuracy step-driving motor mechanism, the OTTICA™ performs smoothly and quietly even when moving quickly to any position.
The OTTICA™ supports a low-power sleep/wake up function. The consumption is lower than 500mW while in sleep mode.
The OTTICA™ supports RS-232 cascade function which is convenient for installing. One cable is included in the box.
You can program up to 255 preset camera positions (10 presets by IR remote).
After using “Advanced IP Scanner” to find the OTTICA’s IP address, input the camera IP address in the URL bar of your browser and click the “Enter” button to proceed to the Web Client login page. This web client will allow you to control various parameters including pan, tilt, zoom, exposure, shutter speed, focus, color temperature, sound, preset positions, compression format, resolution, bitrate, framerate, noise reduction, character displays, and many more.
The OTT-CONTROLLER-V2 gives you flexibility when operating the different OTTICA cameras with different control protocols. Other controllers might only allow you to control using one protocol at any given time, whereas this controller enables you to mix & match different control protocols simultaneously. Compatible protocols include: IP VISCA, VISCA, PELCO D/P.
The included OTTICA PTZ Camera Wall Mount will support the OTTICA camera using a 1/4″-20 screw on the bottom. Attaching the camera and mount directly to the wall will provide you with a sturdy long-term mounting solution.
Note: The bottom piece is flat and ensures support for any sized camera with a 1/4″-20 thread.
The Ikan OTT-CONTROLLER-V2 is a compact PTZ controller that allows you to control up to 5 cameras using either IP or analog control protocols. The controller has ports for RJ45, RS232 (DB9), RS422 & RS485 (Terminal Connector), 12v Barrel Connector, and USB micro (for firmware upgrade).
This compact camera controller features a high‐quality 2-axis joystick for smooth control of pan & tilt, and a zoom rocker. Two separate knobs allow for control of Focus & PTZ/Focus Speed. The speed knob provides 7 levels of adjustment. Pressing and holding the Fn button will move the camera back into the default position.
The large LED screen displays menu settings and network information, whereas the smaller LED screens allows you to control various exposure and color parameters. By pressing either AE Mode or WB Mode buttons, the three smaller LED screens will display different settings combinations that correlate to the mode you select. Each screen has a designated knob for adjusting the value of the parameter displayed on the LED screen. These parameters include focus, gain, iris, gain limit, brightness, exposure compensation, shutter, red gain, blue gain, and color temperature.
To create a camera preset, simply press and hold one of the preset buttons for 2 seconds. When you want to call that preset, tap the same button and your camera will move to the desired preset position.
Ikan’s OTTICA cameras do not require the additional purchase of an NDI License to use and/or operate. Licensing is already included in the camera pricing.
The OTTICA camera is NOT compatible with the Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD at 1080p 60fps. It is, however, compatible with any other video switcher including Black Magic’s other ATEM switchers such as the ATEM Mini & ATEM Mini Pro.
