15-INCH TELEPROMPTER SYSTEM

Ikan’s 4th generation professional teleprompter series is designed for a quick and easy setup to work efficiently in outside broadcast applications or professional studios.  The lightweight aluminum teleprompter has multiple 3/8-16″ and 1/4-20″ for mounting to a pedestal. The teleprompter monitor includes HDMI, VGA, and Composite (BNC) Inputs. The 15″ talent monitor allows the talent to easily check their look and framing without moving or looking away from the lens.

Built-In Tally Lights

Our teleprompter monitors feature integrated tally lights designed to enhance communication between on-camera talent and production teams. The built-in light operates with the convenience of transmitting tally information over an Ethernet cable. These built-in tally lights serve as visual indicators, illuminating when the camera is actively live on-air or recording, providing real-time feedback to the presenters. Tally lights are included with each monitor, offering enhanced flexibility.

Widescreen Talent Monitor

The 15-inch Widescreen Monitor features 3D-SDI, HDMI, and VGA, inputs. The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 HD and max brightness is 1000 nits. The OSD adjustment menu allows adjustment for contrast, brightness, backlight, tint, chroma, sharpness. You can also adjust the intensity of each RGB color channel. Aspect ratio can be set as 16:9, 4:3, full, or it can be set to automatically detect the aspect ratio and set it accordingly. When plugged into a compatible video switcher, the monitor utilizes a red/green tally light that lets you know when your camera is live.

EXTREME CLARITY

The high quality 70/30 made-in-America teleprompter glass provides the perfect balance of reflection and pass-through without distorting the image.  With 1000 nits the prompting image will always be crisp and visible whether you’re under the sun or studio lighting.

EASY TO BALANCE

The 15-inch Teleprompter includes a rail that allows you to easily balance your entire teleprompter setup. You can offset the entire teleprompter setup up to 7 inches.

LARGE RANGE OF CAMERA COMPATIBILITY

Our professional line teleprompters not only include four different camera mount bases but also counterweights to allow for a large range of different-sized cameras to work.  The base can conveniently slide to adjust the weight without the need to remove the plate.

SLIDE RANGE

The 8-inch tripod plate mounts the teleprompter system to the fluid head and provides an extra 6 inches of sliding range. By allowing horizontal adjustments of the camera position on the tripod plate, this feature enables precise counterbalancing. Videographers can fine-tune the distribution of weight to achieve equilibrium, ensuring that the counterbalance system effectively stabilizes the camera setup, especially when using heavy lenses or accessories.

PAN & TILT LOCKS

The fluid head features individual locks for both the pan and tilt. These locks allow videographers to fix the horizontal panning and vertical tilting axes, ensuring stability and eliminating unintended shifts in framing.

COUNTERBALANCE

Counterbalance is a crucial feature in video camera tripods, enhancing stability and facilitating smooth camera movements. The fluid head provides smooth panning and tilting and provides 8 levels of adjustable counterbalance.

DUAL PANHANDLES

The dual panhandles allow you to maintain firm control on your shots. These panhandles also work perfectly for mounting zoom, focus, and iris controls. The length range for each panhandle is 16.7″ to 24″

100MM BOWL

The fluid head includes a 100mm bowl mount with a twist lock to secure the teleprompter and camera payload. This standardized bowl size serves as a connection point between the tripod legs and the video head, providing a secure and versatile platform.

PNEUMATIC PEDESTAL

The Pneumatic Pedestal includes an air-assist center column that will make height adjustments of your payload effortless. The pedestal system, without the teleprompter & fluid head, can support payloads weighing up to 44 pounds. The on-shot stroke of the center column is 12.75″.

ALUMINUM LEGS

The pneumatic pedestal features aluminum legs for each section. A spreader is also included to add extra support to the pneumatic center column. The net weight of the pedestal and dolly is 34.8 lbs.

HEAVY-DUTY DOLLY

The dolly supports up to 132 lbs and is ideal for moving tripods along a flat surface for quick repositioning between shots. The adjustable rubber foot mounts provide a quick and easy setup. This dolly also comes with height-adjustable cable guards and is perfect for both studio and on-location use where support for heavy setups is a requirement.
