HOUSTON, Texas, (October 13, 2016) – Ikan is excited to announce the addition of the Blitz 400 wireless transmitter and receiver system to its line of products. The Blitz 400 is a wireless uncompressed zero delay HD video system that has a 400 foot range. Made out of durable machined aluminum, the Blitz 400 is an easy-to-use lightweight system that offers a reliable connection which is less susceptible to interference.

The transmitter comes with accessories so that you can easily mount it to a camera’s shoe mount, rig, or tripod leg. The Blitz 400 system delivers 100 feet more range and is about $1,000 less than its closest competitor, making it more affordable while delivering more range. In addition, the Blitz 400 wireless video system supports both HDMI 1.3 and 3G-SDI so you get uncompressed high definition video up to 1080 60p with zero delay.

Powering the system is easy with built-in Sony L series battery plates and 4-pin Lemo power connectors. All you need are Sony L series batteries or you can use the included P-Tap to Lemo cables to plug into professional batteries.

The Blitz 400 is indispensable for gimbal users, Steadicam operators, or any filmmaker who requires wireless video. Churches will also find this system useful when they need to transmit footage to a switcher and to screens throughout the building and to people watching live online.

Shipped in a durable hard case, the Blitz 400 transmitter video system also includes an articulating arm, clamp, two installed Sony L Series battery plates, and two P-Tap to Lemo cables. The Blitz 400 is essential in today’s increasingly wireless production world.

“The Blitz 400 complements Ikan’s product line such as our gimbals and our PD Movie wireless follow focus systems. By adding the Blitz, Ikan is able to provide you everything that you need for your production,” says Dariel Resendez, Product Manager.
