HOUSTON, Texas, (Apr. 11, 2016) – At the 2016 NAB Show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center April 16-21, Ikan International Corp will be showcasing new additions from Lightstar to the Ikan lineup of lights. The new Lightstar line of Tungsten Fresnels is extremely lightweight and compact. The small size of these light fixtures makes them reliable and ideal for on-location shoots or small studio setups.
Included in the line of lights are the 300W Tungsten Fresnel Lamp Head (LSW-001), 650W Tungsten Fresnel Lamp Head (LSW-002), the 1000W Tungsten Fresnel Lamp Head (LSW-003), and the 2000W Tungsten Fresnel Lamp Head (LSW-004). These Fresnels are constructed out of high quality aluminum which provides extreme durability without being heavy. Despite its small physical size, each unit can produce a powerful and accurate light output of 3200K color temperature. The lights also feature a focus knob, which allows you to manually adjust the beam angle and intensity. The compactness of these lights makes them ideal for portable kits which ship in custom cases that can carry lights, stands and other accessories.
In addition, Ikan will also be offering a 1200 Watt HMI Fresnel Kit (LS-1200TE) that gives you the power you need to fill in for the sun. Its heavy duty aluminum alloy fixture allows heat to dissipate quickly and the Fresnel lens allows the user to control the spread of the light. From spot to flood, the 1200 watt HMI Fresnel gives all the daylight control that is needed. The 8 meter long Head to Ballast cable with its heavy duty coating and industrial connectors allow it to work even in the most demanding set environment. The 575/1200W Electronic Ballast allows for flicker free shooting up to 10,000FPS.
Lastly, for those looking for crisp, clear and balanced Daylight lighting, it is achievable with the Lightstar 575 Watt HMI Par Kit (LS-575PE). A hot light won’t be an issue as the aluminum alloy chasse provides quick heat release. The light kit features an 8-meter ballast cable, which easily attaches from the fixture to the ballast. It also comes with a five lens set that you can focus in any direction to create the best shot. The included barn doors top off this great lighting package to equip you for any lighting production!
