The D7 is a 7” (digital only) on camera field monitor devised for the video professional who utilizes various input types and power options. Its sleek yet durable aluminum construction dissipates heat and greatly enhances the D7’s longevity. The D7 is equipped with peaking and false color features that the VX series is renown for plus it has an IPS (In-plain switching) panel which puts out vibrant colors and great viewing angles. 1280 X 800 IPS HD PANEL

With the D7’s 7-inch 1280 X 800 IPS HD panel what you see is truly what you get! The IPS HD Panel delivers near perfect viewing angles outputting crisp, clear shots on the field, which means less time in the editing room. The D7’s IPS HD Panel is the tool of choice for high quality color reproduction.

DURABLE ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION

The D7’s frame is constructed with heavy-duty aluminum making it perfect for the video professional bouncing from set to set. Its solid, roughed design ensures the D7 performs at its best even in the roughest terrains. ADVANCED SOFTWARE FEATURES

The D7 is loaded with advanced software features like false color, peaking, movable pixel-to-pixel and DSLR scaling. Each of these features is highly effective in their own right creating a smooth workflow for superior results. With all the features you need at the prices you want the D5 provides endless possibilities for the video professional.

D7 Features

Peaking
The D7 is equipped with Monochrome Peaking features which highlight the desired focus area in a bright, red outline. The operator adjusts the focus control until the red indicator outlines on the desired area are razor sharp, indicating optimal focus. For the best results, be sure the subject is properly exposed.

False Color
The False Color feature utilizes a full spectrum of assigned color indicators, ensuring flawless shot exposure. The under/ over luminance warning enables the video professional to get the quality he/ she desires every time. By adjusting the camera’s Iris, the subject of the image will change color based on specific brightness values indicating optimal exposure.

Movable pixel-to-pixel
The D7’s 1:1 pixel-to-pixel mapping allows the video professional to emphasize on individual chosen elements in the shot. This feature is essential for capturing optimum detail.

Clip Guides
The D7 offers adjustable upper Clip Guide levels to accurately display overexposed images in any shooting condition. The operator simply assigns the upper IRE to their preference and any exposure over the set IRE limit will flash in a vivid purple, indicating only the over exposed area.
