Our VL7 is a superb choice for anyone looking for a high quality yet cost effective HD monitoring solution. Equipped with 1 HDMI and 2 composite inputs, peaking feature, and switchable 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios, the VL7 is well-suited to a variety of applications.

The VL7 is powered by either the included AC adapter or with affordable DV-style batteries with the additional purchase of any of our BP2T DV battery plates. Compatible with your choice of Sony, Canon, or Panasonic style batteries.

With it’s single HDMI input, two composite connections, switchable 16:9 / 4:3 aspect ratios and peaking function, the VL7 is everything you need and nothing that you don't.

The VL7 is one of the most affordable, no-nonsense 7” HD monitors on the market, giving you the ability to stretch your production budget even farther.

Peaking

The VL7 is equipped with both Monochrome and Color Peaking features which highlight the desired focus area in a bright, SILVER outline. The operator adjusts the focus control until the SILVER indicator outlines on the desired area are razor sharp, indicating optimal focus. For the best results, be sure the subject is properly exposed.
