HOUSTON, Texas, (August 12, 2016) – Ikan is partnering with NiSi to distribute their line of high quality cinema filters and will be the exclusive dealer for North and South America (excluding Canada). NiSi’s IR ND and IR GND filters are made out of a single piece of high quality optical glass and are optimized for high definition 6K digital cameras. Each filter features NiSi’s exclusive dual-sided nano coating technology with infrared light pollution control. With its anti-reflective coating, these filters reduce glares and reflections to deliver a clear 6K digital image. Also, the filter’s nano coating creates a protective layer over the glass, making it scratch resistant and easy to clean.
In addition to the IR ND filters and the IR GND filters, NiSi has a line of polarizing filters. Each NiSi polarizing filter uses optical processing technology, including coarse grinding, fine grinding, and polishing. NiSi strictly controls the surface flatness and parallelism of the lens, ensuring that the image is sharp. Its polarizing film material can effectively eliminate the reflection on the surface of a non-metallic object.
All filters come in an individual stylish leatherette filter case and multi-filter cases are also available. NiSi has IR ND filters with 7 different levels of light control (0.3-2.1), graduated filters (0.3-1.2), and polarizing filters. All filters are available in the following sizes: 4×4, 4×5.65, 6.6×6.6.
