Great tools and technology go a long way in producing motion pictures, but makers must be able to use them skillfully in order to tell a good story.  Ikan understands this and is partnering with MZed: Education for Creatives in presenting Alex Buono’s Visual Storytelling Tour 2: Style & Subtext in Cinema.

In his one-day workshop, Buono delivers an intense overview of the artistic elements of visual structure and core principles of cinematography. You may not know Buono, but you’ve probably seen his work as the director of photography for the Saturday Night Live Film Unit.

Buono’s 2015 North American tour will stop in 32 cities between July 22 and September 19. For more info on the workshop, locations, dates, and to register, visit visualstorytelling.com
