VL5e – 5″ HDMI Field Monitor – VIDEO

Slim, lightweight and affordable, the VL5e is a 5″ ultra-portable, on-camera monitor. Its slender build allows it to fit in any camera bag and, at less than half a pound, is ideal for handheld rigs. But don’t mistake its compact size for lack of capacity – it has tons of software features to help you get the images you want. It’s small in size, but big on value. Size makes the VL5e ideal for any type of mobile production – perfect for gimbals, handheld rigs, or shoulder rigs. To assist with those outdoor shoots, a sun visor and full sunhood are included. Check exposures using false color, clip guides and histogram. Peaking and pixel-to-pixel help ensure that the focus is where you want it. Frame guides and DSLR Scaling enhance your ability to capture the image you seek. Plus, you can map your most-used features to four, easily accessed function buttons. The VL5e is equipped with an HDMI input and output. You can also check audio via the headphone port. The monitor uses Ikan BP5-style battery plates that are compatible with seven different power options. The VL5e also features a full-size USB port for software updates as well as powering other 5V devices.
